Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER (180m)

Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER was constructed for the purpose of popularizing tourism and TV broadcasting in the midst of city planning after the post-war reconstruction of Nagoya City. It is Japan’s first intensive communication tower. Although the tower stopped sending the radio wave for analog broadcasting, it currently sends the radio waves for multimedia broadcasting. The observation platform called "The Sky Balcony" where the visitors enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view is located 100 meters above the ground. At 90 meters just below the observation platform, there is a chapel-style wedding hall called "The Sky Deck". The spaciousness and perfect harmony of lights and the city produces a romantic atmosphere for couples. The tower is a popular place for wedding proposals.
